Bradford Cox has released "Octoberland," the first Atlas Sound recording in almost 15 years. The sparse, slow track premiered at Philadelphia's Making Time ∞ festival last month, marking Cox's first proper Atlas Sound performance in seven years. Cox directed the music video himself.
Cox has lined up festival appearances ahead. He will collaborate with his Deerhunter bandmate Lockett Pundt at Knoxville's Big Ears festival in April. Atlas Sound is scheduled to perform at Salt Lake City's Kilby Block Party in May and Barcelona's Primavera Sound in June.
